We Oppose McDonald's DriveThrough

This proposed drive thru restaurant is completely out of character for our neighborhood. It would increase congestion on already heavily congested roads. Safety of local residents, residents, children in bicycles attracted to such a restaurant are negatively impacted. Lighting, noise, late hours, smells and rodents are easily foreseeable negative impacts on neighborhoods adjacent to this intersection. Contrary to what some appear to think, there are numerous residential neighborhoods within 1/4 mile of this intersection. Zoning laws currently in place are correctly aimed at preserving the safety andvquality of life in these neighborhoods. The desire of commercial and financial enterprises to profit at the expense of local residents, and those of residents who do not reside within the impacted area is not, and should not be, of concern to the Huntington Zoning Board. These non-local voices should not override the very real concerns and objections of local residents.

The increased traffic is a safety concern, regarding transport to Huntington Hospital.

NO I can attest to the increase in noise and non stop sirens. Every single day. The back up of traffic at lights in the late afternoon has gotten worse, the radios and horns. We dont need more traffic congestion

The cons outweigh the benefits of building Mcdonalds in this area. Please leave it alone.

It will creat more traffic, to congested as it is , it's not a good place to put a McDonald's there at all.

This intersection is too congested for a fast food restaurant. The community doesn’t want or need it at this location.

This is a horrible idea and will cause too much traffic in a residential area!

The McDonald's at that corner will bring a tremendous amount of extra turning cars into an already very very very busy intersection. It will also completely change the character of the quiet area. Keep it on 110 with the other please!!

There will be too much traffic and there are a lot of doctors’ offices within walking distance and patients need to have access. It’s already a very busy intersection. The McDonald’s is a hard no for me. That location is perfect for a medical facility not another fast food joint feeding us nothing but processed garbage.

I work in the imaging facility within walking distance of this area. I feel there is going to be too much congestion there. Ambulances use park ave to get to Huntington hospital. There is a nursing home facility right across the street. Plus there’s some sort of counseling center in those building behind the site that could bring in trouble makers. I don’t think it’s the right area for it.

We don't need yet another fast food place. My Mom is a resident of Carillon, and I don't want her disturbed. Please don't do this......
