We don’t need a McDonald’s in a residential area. Plus it would cause more traffic than we already have.

I am signing this petition because this is a shame to build something so unnecessary in an area that has enough traffic. I believe that it would be a detrimental move to build any fast food enterprise on that site.

I oppose this site as I feel it creates a safety issue on a very heavily traveled road.

A drive-thru MacDonalds is not in keeping with the character of this neighborhood, in fact would be a blight on it, and it offers no value to the community.

I strongly object to the construction and implementation of a McDonald’s on the site of Park Avenue and Pulaski Road in Huntington. As a longtime Huntington resident I believe that the traffic associated with McDonald’s can potentially delay the transportation of critically ill patients to Huntington Hospital by ambulances. Additionally, there are outpatient clinics on Pulaski Road as well as the Carrolin nursing and rehab center, which also has traffic in and out daily for patients receiving dialysis, families visiting, loved ones, and staff. The addition of a McDonald’s also will bring an increase in garbage which can cause disease, including disease caused by vermin. Huntington has had a history of a large rat population in residential areas, and the McDonald’s will increase the potential for rats and the disease they bring with them.
I am requesting that the town of Huntington deny the application of McDonald’s to open a McDonald’s restaurant at Pulaski and Park Avenue.

This is a terrible spot for a fast food restaurant. It’s congested - lots of traffic on park ave. Too much trash generated. Noise.
