Vehemently opposed to this McDonald’s in that location. It is not compatible with the neighborhood on many levels. And I will be at the hearing opposing it. There is not one community member with whom I have spoken who is in favor of this. We cannot fathom that this application is even being considered at all.

In addition, when a train comes through traffic backs into the intersection. What happens when there’s a train AND a McDonalds? It’ll be gridlock. It doesn’t make sense.

The local infrastructure is not built to accommodate a business like McDonalds. The traffic, which is already problematic, would grow considerably more difficult. And given the many health care providers in the immediate area, putting a McDonalds on the corner of Park Ave and Pulaski will put lives at risk.

This intersection is already a nightmare. The traffic is backed up all hours of the day and pair that with the countless accidents that already occur, we do NOT need any fast food/high volume establishment going in there.

This is an absolutely horrible idea. The smell is going to attract so many different types of disgusting rodents into a residential area. It’s a traffic at this intersection is already horrendous and people turn at the red lights without looking constantly. I live around the corner from THE NEW Chick-fil-A and it’s absolutely horrible so disappointing Huntington keeps approving fast food restaurants. The location of this McDonald’s will be easy access for impressionable children and Will. Encourage them to eat unhealthy during summer months. Poor choice for homeowners, traffic at the health and well-being of children

I strongly oppose this proposal. The intersection is already extremely dangerous due to heavy traffic, multiple lanes of traffic and unfortunately a history of serious accidents involving vehicles and and pedestrians including children. A McDonalds will likely attract additional people, bikes, e-bikes, scooters and cars, significantly increasing traffic conflicts in an area that is already very busy. And dangerous

Please do not put a McDonals on the corner of Pulaski Rd. and Park Avenue. It is already a major dangerous intersection with people getting hurt with accidents as well as it being a neighborhood with homes nearby.

I grew up in the Harborfields School District and me and my husband moved back here because we love the experience we had growing up here. It is not an area for fast food… McDonald’s will only bring crime and with the family center being right next to where the McDonald’s wants to go into we already have problems with crime with the family center there now it is unsafe and dangerous for our children and the community members. It will only bring the community center people to the McDonald’s to hang out and I’m also afraid of crime coming from the Huntington Station area of Depot Road coming to the McDonald’s as we know a lot of vagrant like to use the area where the Citibank is now if there was a McDonald’s there, it will only make the situation worse

This is not an appropriate location for a drive thru McDonald’s… traffic, congestion, environmental considerations— it was a bank with less foot traffic - a chain will cause issues also getting to the hospital
