I’ve been wanting to work out with a bar for ages but I’m only limited to tree branches and monkey bars. We need this in Aberdeen maybe somewhere like Duthie park.

Badly need calesthenics bars. An inexpensive health and wellbeing resource. Crazy that we don't already have some set up somewhere.

No place for youngsters to work out outdoors. Gym is always costly and is not healthy. Would be grateful for a just a single bar!

Pull-up bars and fixed, outdoor workout or calisthenics equipment are certainly needed across Aberdeen. I have seen them regularly used in cities where they are installed regardless of location or climate. Those who use them are enthusiastic about what they do; they often encourage more people to become more active with/without calisthenics. Dip bars, rings, and platforms with various accesses for gripping would also be very useful!

provision for fitness areas in public parks is severely lacking in our area andngiven that we have beautiful outdoor areas it would certainly encourage people to take part. We could all benefit from this and it wouldn't cost the earth to provide them. i think its a great idea and I'm sure I'm not alone

Absolutely! Monkey bars at parks are not great and these pull up bars will allow for fun outdoor workouts to keep fit and healthy even if you cant/don't want to join a gym...or if it's just a nice day.
