Over many years I have experienced too many vaccination reactions when multiple vaccines are all given at once, especially in elderly horses. I pay extra now for single vaccines so I can spread them out over several weeks.

All vaccines must be available individually - period! Manufacturers need to leave the almighty dollar aside and do what's best for the animal. What happened to the oath - do no harm?

I lost a horse a few years ago who had a reaction to her vaccines. She was only 4 years old and was in good health prior to the vaccines. Owners should know what is in their vaccines and be able to get vaccines with only what they want in the vaccine.

We really should be able to get these vaccines separately. Some horses are too sensitive, and some of the vaccines are not necessary every year.

Yes, as horse owners, we need full disclosure about what is in vaccines and need vaccines available for each specific disease, not multi-vaccine combos that don't give us much choice.

We need single vaccines. There is no good reason for a horse to have to receive two vaccinations of tetanus each year, simply because it's included with the vaccines for EE/WEE.

I'm in complete agreement with Dr Kellon. There are too many side effects of all vaccines. Owners should be able to dictate which ones they want to subject their horses to.

My two horses got such severe reactions from vaccines it scared the crap out of me. We need vaccines separated out so we can spread out shots.

I support the need for an EEE/WEE vaccine without Tetanus. Tetanus only needs to be given every 10 years. This is making us over vaccinate our horses.

I opt for the encephalitis vaccine to NOT have tetanus. I only get one every TEN years!
