A massive requirement in a town modelled on community, family life and a great outdoor environment. There is a massive demand locally for it and it will be an asset which brings people from far and wide. 100% behind you!

So desperately need a wet play facility...stanborough has lots of space, but not used effectively...the nearest wet play facilities are St. Albans and fairlands, which get extremely busy.

I remember the old swimming pool even when we had our own children we all used to meet up at the top of longcroft lane and spend all day down there during the summer holidays and be there from early morning to early evening and we would meet brothers and sisters and there children and share picnics

Clearly a huge demand for this (and far more than any high ropes activity - I haven't met anyone who wanted that, GoApe is only up the road).

If WHBC can waste £500,000 on a useless and highly dangerous wooden 'assault course' it can budget for a new swimming pool, and children's wet play facility.

The need for an outdoor area for children, young people and families to enjoy is great. It will be a well used area without doubt and if managed properly can be utilised very positively. Win win.

I soent many happy times with my children at the outdoor swimming pool at Stanborough Park. We need a replacement now. We Live in a densely populated area, soon to be come even bigger with the building of more homes. Why should we have to travel to St Albans or Hitchin or Letchworth? We deserve it !

Get rid of that waste of Welwyn Hatfield residents money that is the eyesore of a ropes climbing course (which never opened to the public) and give us our water park!!!
