We travel all the way to St Albans to use the splash facility there - my child loves it and we often spend all day there

About time the council actually listened to people and spend money on something that is need by the community and bring in money into the town, and something far more affordable to families than an over priced climbing frame!!

Definitely needed, the old one should have been replaced instead of being knocked down.

I quite agree brilliant idea, our daughter used to have a great time at splashlands, and I have fond memories of my childhood summers spent on tbe beach area and in the pool

I enjoyed Splaslands as a child in the sixties, and my older children had a great time there in the 80s/ early 90s. My younger son did not get to play there, along with an entire generation of Wel Hat kids - shame on the local council we have had no wet play for our children for so long!

There isn't very much for children these days. Children need something like this. Why are we the only place around that dosent even have a swimming pool?
