We need a staff common room at Queen's University Belfast

I think this would be a wise investment in that it will support collaboration across departments and foster a sense of belonging to the University.

There's no point talking about cross-discipline research in the absence of a cross-discipline common space for staff to meet. All good universities prioritise this.

It would be great to be able to meet staff from other departments and promote opportunities for cross-interdiscilinary academic discussions. Staff from different departments and Faculties may have different skills and ideas that would encouarge lateral thinking.
