This is outrageous. This is a public facility and should not have equinox prices

We live on an island. Everyone needs to learn to swim! And everyone should be able to afford access to Sports park to exercise. Please adjust the fees to make them more affordable for our mixed income community. Thank you!

I had been looking forward to this reopening, but the cost is way too high. Residents are getting very little consideration..

Crazy pricing. Loved going there to swim before but now will stick with the YMCA. $87/month for seniors.

Was supremely excited about the renovation and re-opening of the facility until I saw the price... Like seriously a LUXURY gym with state of the art equipment, spas, and boutique classes costs nearly the same as this gym. Terrible for the community. And terrible business model.
No way non-residents will pay this fee when you can get a LUXURY gym across the tram: https://www.tmplclubs.com/locations/tmpl-lexington
And for residents -- there just isn't remotely enough value in the new facility to justify the price. Especially considering many of the buildings on RI -- have basic gyms in the buildings. .
Really hope someone talks sense into the management.

The price increases are outrageous - especially the senior price increase (from zero to $1,200/yr) given that seniors generally get by on a fixed income. I will make sure I write to State and local government officials to protest this latest unjust RIOC policy, similar to the steep price increases RIOC had originally pushed for Motorgate.

Sports park is an integral part of Roosevelt Island and is meant to serve the community, not be a for-profit gym. The fees must be kept accessible for community members. Local access is key to what makes Roosevelt Island unique and special, not hefty fees that further gentrify this city.

The new price structure is outrageous. The new gym is no Equinox and should not be priced as such. This is a state run facility not a private company. My elderly mother has been waiting for the pool to reopen but now she cannot afford it.

This is not a luxury pool, and we residents even already paid in full for the renovation. Roberta's suggestions for pricing are more reasonable.

The price increased is too much for a state run facility.

I would love to use our pool again! But these fees are indeed not that far from an Equinox membership (especially considering group or corporate discounts), but with grossly incomparable amenities, services or opening hours.

Please make the price reasonable. I only have interest to the swimming pool. Please create more membership options.

Sports facilities and recreational space should be accessible to all Roosevelt Island residents. By fixing these prices RIOc is excluding a large number of Roosevelt Island residents.
