WE NEED A REASONABLE FEE STRUCTURE FOR SPORTSPARK

As a state-run facility, the fees should be in line with similar public sports centers. The complete lack of transparency regarding any of the decisions concerning Sportspark's renovations is a disgrace.

Grossly overpriced. Significant increase with no debate.

This is for the public good of residents right? Then why charge more than a top gym? Useless and will be an empty place.

Rates should be that of a community center, not a private business. They are trying to copy the pool at Manhattan Park where rate is $35/day. No comparison.

It makes no sense if the RI residents don't get a reasonable price for this

Would have preferred to skip the renovation if I knew the price increase it would warrant!

Outrageous over-reach by the RIOC team.

From a community space to a fancy for profit business that will lock out all of us that really need and value it. RIOC - what's up? Are u looking to milk your residents for the 12M spent? Your exorbitant misguided renovation and pricing does not reflect the words you spoke on twitter… "RIOC looks forward to building on our partnership with community engagement at the forefront.

I respectfully request that the RIOC to review and consider rejecting the recently proposed fee structure. This increase is an unreasonable burden to the community members and does not reflect the rates of other state and city run facilities. We deserve to have access to affordable rates that are equitable and fair.

RIOC is out of touch with the needs of this economically diverse community. For a family of 4, two adults and two teen kids, is $300/month ($3600/yr). A dip in the pool? That's $35. RIOC marketing and financial people are incompetent: they don't understand microeconomics price-demand curve, and they don't understand Amenities pricing model - a nominal fee for residents.
