My father faced a similar situation in Dec 2015. Carted up and down to Galway for tests a number of times via ambulance before being transferred to Galway and then on to the Mater Hospital in Dublin.

Proper Health Care is the most important asset in any village , town , city , country. nurses , doctors , surgeons​ are real life super heroes in our society , every person on this planet would be lost without it , before anything else in this system hospitals should be the number one priority and should not be struggling it should be cared for as much as possible. Your body is your temple you only get one never ever take it for granted.

As a nurse working in medical wards in suh it is unacceptable that patients are sent to Galway n Dublin fr this service.

CATH lab urgently needed in Sligo. Lives are too precious to be lost due to lack of facilities and/or due to time sent travelling to facilities. It also makes financial sense!
