The Department continues to ignore the reality that our children are being left without a place in our local school. I am working behind the scenes to secure a meeting because these families deserve a clear answer rather than this cold silence.

Seeing this kind of momentum confirms that I am not the only one fighting for a spot for my child. This outpouring of support proves that our families deserve a place in this school.

Disgraceful that the department have refused this 7th classroom, with over 100 children on the waiting list, this will have a knock on effect for the next 5 years.

My son was offered a place in the 7th classroom and in the 7th clas there is 19 siblings.it is a disgrace asking parent to send their children to different school.I bet you no one in the dept of Education would do it to their children.

I attended this school as a child as did my younger brother, my daughter Holly was given a place in the 7th class only for it to be taken away and told to go to a school on the other side of the town! , its an absolute disgrace. the overcrowding is going to have a serious knock on effect for the next few years if it is not addressed now!

4th child refused, siblings in different schools, traffic jams every morning, no more scheme to finance a 2nd year in Montessori, and Holy Family offers the answer ... to be refused by the Department of Education! How loud do we have to shout for them to hear us? Disgraceful!!!

As a Montessori teacher in the area a lot of children that are well able and ready to go to school in September are coming back next year as they do not have a place in this school. It's a disgrace your holding children back that are thriving to learn more.

families that are struggling already now have extra playschool fees or extra travel cost and other expenses trying to get to a school outside of their catchment area
