After the pandemic, the city should be embarrassed to try to stifle the small businesses, especially the essentials.

Support business. Pass them a bit of the money the city spends on the TCC.

What else would be happening to this lot? They have made it a positive place on the east side. Sitting area is lighted and safe, I remember people coming up dying from that wash on that bridge. Now with the lights and activity from the Pit I haven’t heard no negativity in the area.

We need to do everything we can to encourage these entrepreneurs. Small businesses make Tucson great, and a place where people want to build a life - not a cookie cutter metropolis. Please keep working with these heroes to help get everything up to code. Examine any laws that are out of date as well, because God knows we have some laws in Tucson that haven't been updated since 1912! Huzzah to small business owners. DLTBGYD!

Instead of using state violence to harass small business owners, why doesn't the city work on housing and other forms assistance for homeless people?

The Pit is a great place a group of folks can go to and get a variety of great tasting food. I live on the far east side of town and still come here.
