This is ridiculous. People will do anything spiteful these days! I hope the city sees this, as I've seen restaurants with ACTUAL health code violations, capacity issues, OSHA issues, etc. I truly hope the city helps them resolve this and stay in operation!

That spot was not being used for anything and now it is generating money for the city in terms of taxes. Let them keep The Pit open and serve the community.

So far, none of the violations I saw involve food safety. Just another example of the unfriendly attitude Tucson has towards people trying to get a business going. Ironic Tucson is a "blue" city? How is nit-picking things arbitrarily like the distance between trucks an issue when I don't see this rule enforced at other locations? C'mon City of Tucson, get off their backs!

The City has multiple roads and sidewalks that are in disrepair and dangerous. They are focused on the wrong issues.

A very nice place for Eastside residents to gather, eat amazing food and have fun. Unfortunately people with hate in their hearts are trying to take it away from us. Sign the petition

Save The Pit! It is too important, not only to the local community, but also for the thousands of Snowbirds who visit Tucson on a seasonal basis, as well as tourists in general. In short, it brings a long-term benefit to the local economy and City of Tucson.
