Great place to enjoy. Leave them alone. Focus on real issues instead a small business.

The Pit is a wonderful example of community and a great demonstration of how the community of East Tucson supports small business. My family loves The Pit.

Let’s not worry about the trivial stuff. Great food at a great price, that’s hard to find in Tucson.

The Pit is a great option for informal eating and neighborhood socializing on what otherwise would be wasted space. It is an asset and an enancement to the community. The idea of 100 foot spacing is absurd, especially considering many homes in the area are spaced much closer. For that matter, there are campsites in forested areas more densely spaced. The city should encourage the Pit, and not seek to crush such a pleasent addition to East side life.

Do NOT ruin the congregation of community in such a perfect place to support local. Tucson is LOCAL PRIDE, and this is the heart of it. A hidden gem! Keep this open. It’s al business anyways, right?
