Me and my wife moved to Tucson almost two years ago to Tucson for the culture, beauty,and for popularity for food. THE PIT was the first place I went to. I made friends here and they turned into family. This place brings the whole city/community together. Sad to the city is making it go because of the corrupted government not giving anyone their peddler because they don't like the pit. focus on fixing the real problems in the city and not what brings the city together with peace!

Tucson needs to do better to keep its small businesses and neighborhoods alive. I used to live in Austin where the food truck scene thrived and truck parks were all over town. I do not understand why Tucson could not also use this opportunity to welcome small business and better utilize spaces that are underdeveloped or run down. The Pit has been breathing new life into our neighborhood. It is a convenient and safe outdoor space for the community to meet.... not to mention the quality and variety of food to try from different cultures . I love supporting small business and want these truck owners to be able to thrive! Long live THE PIT!

This one small business closing impacts multiple OTHER small businesses as well. Would love to see a resolution allowing small businesses entities to continue operating in a safe capacity within city limits.

This is a treasured local spot and a great way to support small businesses/food trucks on the east side of Tucson. They turned an eyesore on a major corner into something fun and delicious, bringing the community together and stimulating the economy. Please don’t make them close!

Please do not close this place down! At the very least, allow for proper adjustments to be made or a new location to be found! It’s a great place to hang out outside and enjoy the beauty of Tucson!!
