City of Tucson, this is how government gets a bad name. Here is a business that is working to create revenue for the city, sponsoring growth of other small businesses and salvaging an otherwise abandoned property which becomes a site for dumping and gang or other illegal activity, and our current regulations don't allow for it. Regulations need to either have flexibility built it or be re-written to adapt with innovation. You can benchmark your reg's in this topic with other similarly situated cities, like Austin (Tx), and see how they have adapted. This is a huge loss for our city.

I live close to the The Pit. It's the best food option in my area. And a good use of space.
Before the food trucks, that area was a vacant wasteland (dark n uninviting). Now it's a wonderful place for families n couples.

You have to keep the pit open. This is a great family friendly place for the city, and for food trucks to have business!! This was such a positive place and experience. Please evaluate your zoning regulations.

I recently came to the pit for the first time on a Saturday and had a great time stuffing my face with food from 3 different trucks while listening to live musicians it was the best I don’t want this place to close I don’t want that to be the last time I go there, GOOD LUCK!

This will be a severe loss to tucson if the city doesn’t allow the pit to continue.

Small business owners rely on venues like this for their survival. Events like this bring the community together. Don't restrict a good thing for everyone.

I mean to some degree I agree with this although I'm not sure hoe I feel about thr metered parking part. It can be super frustrating to have a food truck making a profit while occupying often several parking spots that the average citizen might need. I do get a little bothered that tge needs of businesses and people engaging in capitalism and consumerism are often alliwed to superceded that of individual human beings.

Keep The Pit open. The east side is a food desert, we need options.
