I don't understand what the issue is. Let people earn a living if their living isn't causing any issues for the public. There are too many rules and laws that make no sense.

Transplant from FL. Coming to Tucson to have somewhat limitless options of food trucks around town has been such a blessing for my taste palate. Heard about this place just to find out it's been closed down for riduculous reasons. A place where I can sitdown and try fresh food any day of the week and meet the locals WHILE supporting small business? It's appealing to me and I the community seems to love it too. Take care of your people, that's the reason I left my state to come here. City of Tucson should do the right thing and stop letting The Pit suffer.

There seems no harm with the food truck park. No safety issues, no food borne illnesses, and no issues of crime or harm appear to exist.
The food truck park supports local business and is enjoyed by the community. It creates a positive purpose and enterprise in the area.
Rules exist to serve the community, not hinder people's activity. The purpose of rules is to make the community safe and orderly. Rules need to be applied appropriately. If rules punish, limit or hinder people's ability to work or enjoy their leisure time, then there should be an opportunity for an exemption of those rules.
The food truck park seems the perfect circumstance for such an exemption.

We need this place. Many other cities and municipalities have a dedicated space for food trucks, which supply a critical market for unique and unusual foods, as well as a place for entrepreneurs
