Not fair to small businesses when it is hard for patrons to drive and park downtown.

I understand that you're trying to beautify Fort Dodge but closing off small businesses from making their business thrive really does not make sense. Your beautifying Fort Dodge but you're making storefronts close their business due to the situation.

The food is awesome. The city of Fort Dodge needs to be sensitive to small business owners.

I support local businesses like this one; TC Mae's should NOT risk losing valuable business in the name of progress. That's not progress! This is a great business establishment that needs to be given consideration.

Wtf is up with this slow ass construction project? Fort Dodge is only hurting itself by sequestering these small businesses.

Understand the progress idea, but we need to make sure the great local businesses don't regress from progress.

I think it's insane how long the downtown has been torn up! Pattys Pub is another place that's been impacted. Finish ONE project before you tear up another piece of downtown!

We love TC Mae's! Support small businesses in Fort Dodge. They don't get large corporation support in times like these.

I can most certainly understand this request! People are going to go where it is easy access especially when on a lunch break. I truly hope you get your signatures as you have a great business and would be and is a shame you are suffering due to obstacles beyond your control. Hope you can make it through this time as I see your business succeeding ing for into the future!!

It's fine that construction goes on, but the City of Fort Dodge needed and needs to in the future provide money to locally owned and operated small businesses like TC Maes so they can continue to operate in the absence of a strong customer base.

The construction is not an improvement to the city. Now the city decisions are impacting local businesses. Imagine if 21st street in front of the Mayors business and surrounding streets were blocked. Get the problem resolved FD. You are setting a poor example of how to treat your residents.

TC Mae's is one of the place I visit when I come back home to Ft Dodge. But, my last visit I couldn't get to as easily because of the construction. I love TC Mae's and the family atmosphere that comes with the business.

agree these businesses cannot stay afloat when people can't get to them. Hard to keep a downtown thriving that way. Look at Humboldt with the bridge out for over a year.

TC Maes is a successful locally owned family restaurant, something that is rare in downtown area. Fort Dodge is working to make the downtown area more friendly and welcoming for citizens, the city needs to support and do everything within its power to make the disruption of their business as minimal as possible to keep this business as well as others productive as possible so when the downtown project is complete it will benefit the businesses and give the community a reason to utilize the downtown. It will be very sad if at the completion of the downtown project there will be no businesses left because the city did not do everything possible for the business owners that are an will continue to be the reason the downtown are will be draw for community as well as bring people in from other communities- bringing in revenue for both the business and the city of Fort Dodge.
