At the end of the day, what harm is it doing by playing homegrown music? Ireland have some of the greatest singers, songwriters and musicians in the world.

This shouldn't even be a matter for debate. Of course our national radio station should be playing more home grown music. That should be a majority of what is broadcast.

I am a great singer/songwriter. However, I do not stand a chance if my country does not support me. And people wonder why majority of Irish talent have to travel abroad?

Irish artists need a solid foundation income and radio royalty can provide that. Support your fellow countrymen support your fellow creative artists and show your support!
