The momentum generated by this petition has surpassed my initial expectations. I am currently evaluating the most effective way to present these concerns to the appropriate authorities.

Ms.I has changed young life's for the better. 2007-2008 Ms.I was my teacher and taught me not just out of the book but life skills to be a successful young man. Since middle school until now in college(University of Louisville) Ms.I comes second to none at what she does. This saddens me to find out this information

I Think Miss Iturmendi is one of The best teachers at palmetto middle. My daughter Aurora had her two years and she really learn more than just history or civics she teaches how to study and much more.

As a parent and former faculty member, I can attest to Ms I' value to PMS. She is one of those teachers who students never forget as she makes an effort to touch everyone's life.
Over her years at PMS, she has contributed to PMS academic excellence. It would be very sad for PMS to loose such a valuable member.

Cindy is one of the most effective teachers I know. She's demanding and has high expectations for her students but also works hard to help them achieve. She's a valuable asset to PMS and we'd be doing our school, and more importantly our students, a disservice to let her go.

The decision to move Mrs. Itrumendi out of Palmetto does not make any sense at all. My son was in her class last year. He thoroughly enjoyed the class and got a perfect score on the EOC. She was also a chaperone in the Natl. Honor Society close up trip to DC and did an excellent job. Please reconsider this terrible decision.

Thank you all for your kind words and support through this challenging time. Happy to announce that due to this petition and everyone advocating on my behalf, I have been reinstated at Palmetto Middle School. Thank you to my students (past and present), parents and the community members of the Village of Pinecrest for allowing me the opportunity to continue to teach and inspire students in a community that I love.
