Happy to announce that due to this petition and everyone advocating on my behalf, I have been reinstated at Palmetto Middle School. Thank you to my students (past and present), parents and the community members of the Village of Pinecrest for allowing me the opportunity to continue to teach and inspire students in a community that I love.

This is a result of the enrollment or lack of enrollment in our public schools. Teacher allocation is based on the # of kids enrolled. That's why private schools charge tuition and deposits early on the school year.

Mrs I is an amazing teacher and impacted my son's life greatly. She is an asset to PMS. What a shame they have let a truly good teacher go having so many that should be sent back for retraining or to find new careers. She loves the kids, her work and gives so much of herself. Shame on PMS for not making the right choice.
