Do we want this person in our village !!!!!!
WHEN the police arrested a Bidford man who had accessed a website selling child pornography they found “grotesque and depraved images” on his computer.
Andrew Bateson aged 38, of Grafton Lane, had pleaded guilty to 12 charges of possessing still and moving indecent images of children and possessing extreme pornography.
He was given a community sentence with three years supervision and ordered to take part in a probation programme for 100 days, which Judge Alan Parker said should be the sex offender’s programme.
In addition Bateson was ordered to register as a sex offender for five years and was made subject to an electronically-tagged curfew from 7pm to 7am for six months
The silence from the authorities is heavy and feels like they are waiting for us to just go away. My resolve is worn thin from the constant worry but I will not stop pushing until this village is safe again.

Seeing this progress helps when the days feel heavy and the situation seems impossible to change. Your support keeps me moving forward despite how exhausted I am by this whole experience.

Unbelievable. Why are we letting him back into our community like nothing happened. Not in my backyard.
