Unfortunately, I feel that I am not being provided with the information I need in order to pass this class. I am stressing out and feeling overwhelmed as to trying to learn this subject. I have been attending every class but Prof. Yao has not been efficient in teaching us formulas and functions. I feel that we are unable to express our concerns because he resorts to screaming at us and just tell us to study more. Please help us receive the education that we deserve from this class.

I would never want to see someone lose their job, so I do not agree that we need a new professor. However, I do agree that this professor needs help with new teaching styles, especially with everything being online now. I have not learned much from his lectures, if anything at all but I have learned some from reading what he told us to. The biggest challenge here was that both books were on back order for quite some time and since getting to campus isn't possible for all of us many did not get the books until this week. This gives us only 2 weeks to not only study but also pretty much learn everything for our first exam out of 3. I attempted to ask this professor for clarification during the very first class and he literally yelled at me. I am honestly terrified to ask him any other questions. I debated on withdrawing from this class but as a junior I would have a hard time making space for the rest of my classes in order to graduate on time. This professor is very concerned on cheating because of his prior experiences. I understand taking measures such as lock down browser or webcam to hold students more honest, however I do not understand cutting the time by almost 30 mins from the amount of time he gave in person. I already have testing anxiety, like most students, and knowing I will only have roughly 1 min per question where 60% of the questions are calculations makes it seem impossible to complete. When I graduated from Pierce in the spring my GPA was above 3.5 so I take my grades very seriously but I am severely concerned about my final grade in this class. I do take my education in my own hands so Iwill make the best of the situation that I can, and am starting to look at tutoring options but I do feel this professor needs some sort of updated guidance for students to be successful.

The instructor is not good. He just lectured and nothing after class. Also, he did not even have canvas at the started of class then he made one.

This professor never engaged to his student. We ask a lot of question and what he does what scream at us. The way he teaches is also bad because he doesnt explain what he's reading or doing.

1. The professor doesn’t care about teaching the students the class material, this class is : study yourself only
2. The class is designed to set up the students for failure
3. Only 3 exams and that’s all? That is simply not enough to help students obtain a decent/good grade for a class with very difficult material like Operational Management
4. We paid full price to teach ourselves
5. The Book IS THE BIGGEST SCAM OF ALL
6. How was the professor allowed to add his name on the book when the chapters and the information has not been written? He took all the chapters from different books and put it together?
7. WHY ARE WE PAYING $160 FOR A BOOK THAT IS PRINTED BLACK AND WHITE???? HE IS RIPPING OFF THE STUDENTS BY MAKING US PAY FOR A BOOK THAT CAN BE PRINTED AT ANY PRINTING STORE
8. The professor is bias because every single example he gives is about how Japan is great and America is dumb
9. Over 130 students in the class and he is not willing to help students with any questions instead he emailed all of us that all the questions must be addressed to the tutor
10. This professor is Professionally Burned, he has no intention to teach instead it’s all about money on the hours he puts in and the FAKE BOOKS HE SELLS

I am so worried that I will not pass this class due to this professor's astoundingly poor communication skills and him exhibiting little to no effort in teaching us. None of us are understanding what we are being "taught" here. I want to pass this class - I have to pass this class, but being taught by someone like him is completely unacceptable. We are all fed up and we desire change in this class.
