Anyone who thinks and speaks like this will never change or be open to the truth. And should hold the position of a member of the Senate committee of Aboriginal Peoples in this country

This lack of judgment has no place in the Canadian Senate.

These harmful views trivialize the atrocities of the residential school system and their lasting effects on survivors and their descendents. The senator has directly undermined the process of reconciliation that is sorely needed in Canada, and should resign and issue an apology immediately.

She is ignorant of the issue and should resign. Her ignorance is multiplied by her arrogance and close mindedness.

Ms. Beyak is an embarrassment to all Canadian settlers. The use of her position to seek media attention demonstrates her grandstanding ways to counter the work of others to bring this sorry part of Canadian history to light. She is very much like the Holocaust deniers who make their racist claims to protect their own power and privilege. I hope other Senators will deny her this privilege and find a way to force her to resign.

As if your first ignorant comment wasn't enough ... now you say you do not need any further education on the issue (learning should never end) and that you have "suffered" too (clearly not as you have no understanding What So Ever). Step Down. This tax payer has no use for your "work".

She is a complete idiot and is denigrating those who suffered through the horror of Residential Schools.
