We demand the resignation of Senator Lynn Beyak and issuance of a formal apology.

She don't know how native ppl had it in these kinda places so I say no to this.an I never want this to ever happen again to the native ppl.

Senator Lynn Beyak has shown an in depth lack of understanding and empathy in this instance. Definitely not qualified for this committee.

The ability of some survivors of residential schools to thrive under difficult circumstances is a testament to those individuals, it does not release residential schools from their dark place in Canadian history, whatsoever. Stealing children from their families and denying them their culture, their families, and subjecting them to unspeakable horrors that no child should ever have to go through is beyond terrible. For Lynn Bayek to make such insensitive and ignorant comments should call into question her ability to serve Canada as a senator. She needs to resign.

I wonder if her opinions are to protect her ancestors??? If so, it just makes it worse. Beyak represents the hurdle this country needs to overcome to come anywhere close to the ideal many have.

Senator Lynn Beyak should lose her senate seat and at the very least should be removed from the committee of Aboriginal Peoples. Her comments are offensive and demonstrate a complete lack of understanding and compassion of Indigenous experience in Canada.

She should at least resign from the indigenous committee that she's on.

As a senator, you certainly don't represent any values I espouse. If you can't be a leader, you shouldn't be in the Senate.

Hi, you should represent all Canadians, not just you and your opinion. You should step down. Racism is inacceptable particularly if you are a part of the Senate.
