We demand the resignation of Senator Lynn Beyak and issuance of a formal apology.

This Senator needs to apologies...and resign.

She has no right to her seat in Parliment if she does not know the issues and the history!!!! But then if she is racist against our First Nation people then another reason for her to go!!!!

Get her the hell out of there. NOT IMPRESSED!!!!! I'm not an Aboriginal but I don't have to be to be bothered and disgusted by this. It's about time we stopped ignoring about what had gone on, and continues to go on in the communities of our First Nations People's.

She is a totally disgrace to the human race!!! Her resignation is an absolute just!!!

Lynn Beyak did NOT survive the Residential schools and her shameful claims cannot be allowed within the Senate.

This woman does not have the humanity needed to serve in public office. She should be dismissed.

Unacceptable!!

Beyak's comments are completely unacceptable and reflect badly upon the Senate. The fact that Beyak is not properly educated on the subject and is unwilling to learn is very disturbing. The fact that her opinion is based on the religious indoctrination of aboriginals shows her utter bias and proves that the only people with so called positive experiences are Christians who share her values. Beyak is unqualified to serve on the Senate.

I'm disgusted not only by the comments made by Conservative Senator Beyak, but her stance to stand by these comments. At a minimum she should step down from the Senate Committee on Aboriginal Peoples and at the most should resign her position as a Senator. As a Conservative Senator, she made these comments in the face of the June 2008 Residential School Apology made by Stephen Harper. Shame on you!!

You don't get to try and claim there were positive effects and consequences to Canada's shameful residential school system and then claim you "suffered" with those who actually experienced it. You need to resign from you position on the committee and as senator.

Replace this seat with a residential school survivor.

Senator Beyak, You are a shame to our nation and values. It sickens me to call you 'Senator'. This tittle is a privilege that you clearly do not deserve. I urge you to quit your position immediately and publicly present excuses to all Peoples of this great country that is Canada. Trumpland is on the other side of the border should you not be aware of that.

Why do we have to sign a petition to the obvious. This woman is a disgust. The government should have already taken care of her. If nothing else send her to another department where she has nothing to do w aboriginal people. Have her work on the dumps where she is knowledgeable about garbage!!!!!

I realize there must be evil for good to exist...ignorance on the other hand even if its feigned must be erradicated.
