Beyak's attitude towards indigenous people makes her completely unfit for any form of public service, but in particular, for membership on the Senate Committee for Aboriginal Peoples. She must be removed.

Her mentality is the same mentality that hitler had, thinks residential school was good, like hitler thought confinement canoes were good for Jews. Make her resign, she has no place to be making decisions for the indigenous peoples of Canada. Don't forget you are a visitor to this land, we were the first people here.

Her comments and flippant disregard for the wrongs done to our First Nations ancestors are certainly uneducated and show lack of respect for her position and her duty to perform her job with compassion are reason enough for her to have to step down, how will we be treated fairly by the government with ppl like her in there.

Quite obvious she is from priledged family and knows nothing about First Nations people and the genocide inflicted upon them through the Residential School system. Her comments further damage the already fragile state our communities and maybe she needs to visit First Nations communities and see how well she fares making these comments face to face with the living survivors...I believe sitting pretty behind a desk and not being available to listen first hand about their lived tragic experiences..maybe she wouldn't make minimize the Canada's dark secret past...shame on her for making these comments..she needs to step down and be made to experience and listen to the stories of the survivors...easy to make statements sitting behind a desk with no thought of the ongoing damage she has caused with her comments..
