We Demand Milton Make Public the Entire T & M Report

It’s with disappointment and sorrow that I’ve learned how much abuse took place at Milton while I was there, before, and after. I have wished for more courage and integrity on the part of the current leadership as a gesture of commitment to at least trying to repair past harm. Please make an effort. You can do better.

I, too, share in the disgust of keeping the T&M Report shrouded in secrecy. I fully support this petition to bring the report's contents to the light for the benefit of all survivors and victims.

This is quite troubling...

Please give Beau Ryan--and the legal case against Rey Buono--all the help they need.

As a Milton ‘79 alumna, I am horrified by the actions of Rey Buono and the lifelong destruction he caused for his victims. A very dear friend and classmate may very well be one of his victims. He died very unexpectedly just before senior year began.

Like all of us, the school and those who are part of it will be better off acting with integrity, acknowledging mistakes openly, and at least apologizing to those who it, and they, have hurt. We all fail at times; but our character is tested, revealed, and, yes, defined not so much by the failures themselves than by our response to them. This is a defining moment for the school and its leadership.

I consider myself lucky to have had no thespian skills nor interest.

You taught us to cherish and honor "Dare to Be True". Full release of this report could not be a more perfect example of putting that theory into practice. You must stand tall for the victims and stop protecting the perpetrators.

I wonder why an entire school would protect a rapist.

Class of ‘79. Dare To Be True. My mother, her two sister, my 3 siblings, several cousins all attended Milton. I will spread the word. Do the right thing.

Please release the report , please do act with integrity and compassion ,allowing in transparency, so that healing can occur and others not be further harmed.

Dear Milton Academy Leaders and Decision Makers, It took Milton Academy 223 years to earn it's reputation as a top notch prep school that dares students to value the truth. DARE TO BE TRUE is Milton's BRAND. Don't destroy the brand, it's valuable and worthwhile and has been around since 1798. Protect the BRAND, the STUDENTS, and the TRUTH by being open and transparent. It's the healthy choice.
