As active director for Lakeview Dramatic Arts, an auditorium would be so important for the future generations to have. I wish I had gotten the opportunity to perform in a beautiful space and feel appreciated and acknowledged, but we are crammed in a shared room, struggling with seating to fit the ticket demands. This is more than deserved, more than overdue. This is justice.

Of the three high schools in the CCPS system, two of the schools have an auditorium for their performing arts. LFO has a thriving performing arts program, and deserves an auditorium to continue putting on great productions. The auditorium could also have other uses such as motivational speakers, band concerts, and talent shows.

I went to heritage high and we have a beautiful auditorium and Ringgold high just got a new one. Let's get LFO one two. They need it for their performing arts program.

As a grandparent watching my granddaughter and her classmates pour their hearts and souls in every program, I believe they deserve the appropriate platform to display their amazing talents. Each student and their teacher deserve an adequate stage, additional seating for the audience and safe backstage spacing. The dramatic arts have no school funding provided, therefore the program must function on the money received from the one fundraiser they are allowed and through the ticket sales because of limited seating at each show. They need an auditorium for the dramatic arts to grow and allow these students to shine.

Please sign this!! Both of the other schools in our county have auditoriums, it was be absolutely amazing if LFO were to have one as well. I know the drama's struggles as well even if I'm only a band student. The band needs this auditorium as well. We've been playing our concerts in an old gym for as long as I can remember. I don't understand how we can have not one but 2 gyms, one of which is brand new and barely get used, and nothing for the arts. It's completely unwarranted that our sports programs get anything they ask for every year along yet our arts are almost not funded as a whole. I know for sure drama is not funded and band is either given very little if at all. I cannot speak for the art club as I am not sure. As for the chorus, it ceases to exist at our campus. Please sign on for LFO Auditorium. Don't continue to let things go awry.

Get the band and choir in on this as well. As a shared space, it would be much easier to acquire funding.
