As a Redskin graduate it means to me that you removing our mascot is removing our heritage. Saranac is believed to be named after the chief Indian of the land that the founders bought from them. They are our tradition and we respect them for what they gave us. Being a Redskin means being a tribe (look the difinition up), being strong and when all things are taken from you, you stand tall. That's what we represent and with everything that has been going on with Saranac you now want to strip away who we are. SHAME ON YOU! It's time for us to be a tribe again and be strong and fight for who we are!
