Been a HEMEL stagg all my life, played with some incredible players, most of which local lads, its Hemel staggs, not Dewsbury staggs, 100% doesn't work!!

My grandson started at stags now he plays for Wigan and this would not have been possible without the clubs support or being so local. We need a local club to bring the youngest on in rugby league. My grandson is a fine example of what they can do and where there can get youngsters to. I would appreciate if you reconsidered. He wouldn't of be able to travel to places like dewsbury, and keep up with other priorities.

As a member of the London junior league, I would be upset to see a great pathway for younger players from London be lost. Without Hemel a number of players now in Super League would never have had a chance to show what they are capable of.

The recent news and actions of key influencers with the club is disgusting and shouldn't be allowed by governing bodies within the sport. The RFL have been campaigning to grow rugby league in the south and should step in to support a stalwart on the game in the game as well as one of the most successful clubs in the south. Such a shame to see the sad situation

How can they call themselves Hemel stags, South Wales scorpions just as well team up with a team up north if this is allowed..... Just don't think thought has gone in to the local rugby and the development of the game and getting grassroots rugby league to a healthy state but work will be a lot harder now as they have a semi professional team who play matches at Hemel, yet they need to travel 340 miles just to get a look in

Fans not consulted, team not consulted, volunteers not consulted. Something smells like money being offered back handed. We are rugby league, the most loyal of fans. Northern or southern it doesn't matter! 340mile round trip for a chance to get in to the team! Disgusting

I am originally from Dewsbury and a lifelong Rubgy League Fan.
This is a terrible idea
What happened to expansion?
Don't feel pressurised to perform at the same level as Toulouse, Toronto / North England.
Develop at your own rate organically.

Absolutely ridiculous.
No one from Hemel or down south will want to join stags. It will end up being a load of northerners who aren't good enough to play for dewsbury, driving down south every other weekend. Rethink or it will be the end.

A ridiculous situation. Whilst I totally disagree with any format of dual registration, this so called partnership is barmy beyond belief. Best of luck with your campaign.

The concept of joining with Dewsbury is ridiculous, and lacks respect for the Hemel club, supporters, volunteers and most importantly, community.

Rugby league clubs should be at the heart of their community, this decision goes completely against this principle. The London area must have enough potential players for 3 professional clubs. Bolster the squad with northern based players by all means but don't base the club in the north its no longer part of the community and loses its roots if it does.
