As a former player and a product of the youth development program in the 90's I am saddened and disappointed by this news. Whilst players, coaches and board members will come and go and are very much replaceable. the club, its roots and its relationship with the local community should and must underpin the Clubs existence. Hemel stags board members, you have a duty to the club to listen to the people that are passionate about our club- the supporters.

This club was a massive part of my youth. What a terrible decision made without proper thought or consultation.

I think the dual registration agreements can work but this would seem a one sided agreement that does not support the work done over the last 10 years. In regards to the club as a whole, whilst it has done great things it has had ample time to set up Links with local business etc to make a move to the south appealing for many players with professional experience.

I think it's a disgrace. iv known the club an people there along time an they have helped put Club where it is today with hard work and loyalty. the youth an development they have worked so hard to build will be destroyed an suffer hugely.

This would do huge damage to a local community based side that has generated and hosted some outstanding talent. It's short sighted and ill advised to make a move like this. Changes need to be made to make it sustainable but this isn't it.

As a former player I would not support a partnership that weakens development in an already low RL threshold. The club should focus on local talent development not spring-boarding up the leagues by utilising players who will leave as soon as they have been scouted.

I am not born in Hemel, but being part of the Stags a few years back were the most memorable days I have to feeling like I was part of the community. Great set of local lads with bundles of ability and experience. It's a real shame to take that away.
