There's no point in a Hemel team if it doesn't create opportunities for people from Hemel

Why are they trying to stifle new teams just like they did with Gatehead and Sheffield. Usually more to do with money than Rugby League.

This club has been in Hemel ever since I can remember. If you join with this other club I believe that the spirit of Rugby will be lost in Hemel. Don't make that mistake not every male likes to watch/play football, this would also make it near on impossible for younger generations in Hemel to become interested in playing the game.

Ridiculous idea to setup like that, considering the history....partnerships are great but this is obviously because someone has received a backhander.

Developing RL outside of its traditional heartland is exactly that, not some money laundering scheme to allow an established Northern club the opportunity to basically absorb another clubs budget to develop its own team.

I used to play for the stags in 2008 and my father played for the first ever stags team with Bob brown and both live with in a 5 minute walk of the club

Having played with a stag who became a very close friend I got to see what the clubs all about and it's just fine as it is

Seems like a ludicrous decision to me! A 340 mile round trip just for training when players are working as well is not viable. Leave Hemel in Hemel!!

Hemel stags should stay in Hemel

Is this something that should have been debated at the club AGM? I think it's time to remove the board and management

This a real shame, that such a great local club is possibly being moved. They say there are no grass roots interest, my son goes to a local primary school and they had an inter school tournament, over 300 children were there. How's that no local interest.

When the founders of this club set up the Stags, I'm sure their intent was to promote RL in the south. Moving to Dewsbury does not achieve anything.

Leave it where it is! No hope to develop local talent without a team to play for

Loved playing against the Stags when I was in the UK playing with the Cavaliers. Good luck lads.
