A ridiculous and retrograde proposal. Clubs MUST have a local identity for them to prosper.

Disgracefull. Typical of the RL community in General though. i.e. shooting itself in the foot.

How can RL possibly grow in the South without genuine southern representation in the national professional leagues? This move will instantly remove the pipeline of young RL talent available between North London and the South Midlands. You only have to look at the current / former SL players from the London area that have passed through Hemel to the top echelons of the game to realise how important the Hemel base has been to talent discovery and development in this non traditional RL area. Who is now going to pick up the talented but disenfranchised RU players in this region?

I think it's a disgrace and blow for the southern game tryin to expand in its own region. a lot of money and time from people who are involved our future southern stars. To drive that far or mess about on trains 3 times a week will reverse all the fitness training more injuries. Dan hull Kr fan

As an original player (1981), this is a disgrace.

Great to see how many signatures this has, let's hope something can be done. Not only is it discouraging for young players in the area it's also a huge inconvenience for the current Hemel players who are local to make that journey! Support all the way for expanding our great game in the south. Warrington fan.

Who will The Centurions have to beat if the Stags aren't local? Keep all the Stags at Hemel.

This will leave local youngsters without a club to play for should they reach the required standard. Dewsbury already have a club.

Total madness the south needs a place for our great game to grow the stags ground is the perfect location to grow home grown players I know I've seen it first hand the Passion in the area first hand who ever thought this plan up need to re look at it as I feel you are in no position to be a decision maker in a rugby league club sort it out
