As a 33 year resident of this school district, a mother of four children who attended Vallecito and Miller Creek and two grandchildren who are currently students at Vallecito my opinion is that we should forget this nonsense and continue to focus our resources on the great education that is offered to ALL children in the district.

This is a waste of resources and divisive. It’s pitting neighbors against one another and is dividing our community into “for” and “against” factions. It saddens me, more than you can imagine. Focus our resources on educating our children and future leaders and not divisive personal crusades.

Three generations of our family have attend the Dixie School District from Mary Silveira Elementary to Miller Creek Middle School. It is a wonderful school system with an outstanding reputation.

Born and raised in Terra Linda. Our 3 kids went all thru school in Dixie district. Name stands for excellence in education.
