As long as the caravans are in good condition there shouldn't be a age limit. If there is it should be given at time of taking out a licence.

Save the old vans keep them on site along with the old people who look on them at the 2nd home with care

I spent a lot of money on my caravan, 4 weeks ago I had doubleglazing because when I purchased my caravan 4 years ago I was told that there was no age limit now they have said that caravans that are 15 years and over are not allowed and mine is 14. This is so unfair.

I think its so disrepectfull to all the people who have spent money on their caravans to now be told they are to old and having one car to each caravan is stupid as most caravans are 8 beth and u can only fit 5 people to a car

Paid £1815 last sept change over never told nothing about 15 years also £1650 double glazing and £200 carpets in last month

Corporate greed indeed. Insisting on rules with no guidance on why this is being proposed. Better to have a standards check and an annual sign off with a season's warning. Consultation periods and representation meetings are usual when you'd rather not have a backlash. Where's your money coming from an empty park or the people who own the caravans?

Agree with Malc Guthrie, only got notification yesterday. Kingfisher an ELDC don't care about us , we are just numbers to them not folk that have worked hard and saved for our holiday homes.

Completely unfair. All those affected should enrol all family members and Join together as one to get legal representation as a group rather than as individuals, one voice. The council are trying to steam roller the residents and they have got a fight on their hands!
