We should not sacrifice the local people's livelihood and enjoyment of the beach. This was land that was given to them. Why is it the government has the right to take it away.

Don't know how current this plea is but oh, I trust that you have secured beautiful Winnifred Beach as a public beach. May you always get to have it that way. Lots of beauty, laughter and fun is more important than money. God bless from the USA!!!

I enjoyed my first visit to Winnifred Beach last August along with around 40 friends. It was a truly wonderful day despite the intermittent rain. What claim can UDC have on this traditionally free public beach? From whom and how was the property acquired?

People living on a tropical island should not have to pay to enjoy its natural resources.

i swear that at the rate these people love to sell our natural resources they soon sell us the people of this blessed nation to another country without consent much less our knowledge.

I grew up going to this beach. I would love it to stay just how it is!

The bible warns us about the love of money, now why would they want cris Blackwell to buy Winifred beach,it's there for our Jamaican people to enjoy. To the powers that be,please don't let this happen, please please don't sell your souls
