This beach and all remaining public beaches in jamaica must be protected and preserved for jamaican people.
The proposal by these money mad monsters must be absolutely withdrawn!! Community tourism should be promoted. How e government can't see this is beyond me? It is an outrage.

We enjoyed this peaceful place during our Holidays in Jamaica 16 years ago, and we are looking forward to visiting the wonderful public beach end of this year (2015)

Let the people who have sustained this land keep the land for its natural purposes, not a resort town. No one needs another resort town forcing the poor to cater to the rich.

I visited Jamaica earlier this month (Feb 2015) and was amazed & shocked to learn that there are now so few free public beaches. It is DISGRACEFUL, and UDC and all supporting bodies should be ashamed of themselves.

My family came from Jamaica and though I was born in the states I consider myself Jamaican. We cannot let the rich impinge on the rights of the general population and access to the sea should be for all. I want to help in any way I can to preserve public access to Winnifred Beach!
