I am from Portland and always visited winnifred beach, it's a lovely place to relax..and the only public beach that is left in the parish..If and nd when UDC, privatised it..what is left for the public to enjoy..so please free winnifred beach and leave it to the public..that's our beach and our country..so y taking everything away from us?

There is very little available to the locals, and this is one of natures' wonders created by The Almighty. A beautiful place to be enjoyed by all, locals as well as visitors for free...I say no to the profiteering.

I had great times on that beach I lived in fairy hill housing scheme for years so to now see them trying to take a great piece of my childhood away it's not nice and i will do whatever it takes to try and save winniefred beach its also a part of me

I am a Resident of Fairy Hill Housing Scheme for over 30 years. We all need to have access to Winnifred Beach.

Sick and tired of foreign ( American or European ) countries getting their hands on our property.....Once they get it where do you think the money they earn from their resorts here goes?...Not into the hands of the people of Jamaica. They are getting rich off our land while paying our people who have to work for them, a mere pittance. Yes we need investment in Jamaica....it doesn't mean that the land has to be sold, it can be leased (Jamaican Government pay attention!)
