I just found out about this. An absolute, down right shame. How could the government even consider this, outrageous thought. Must we sell our soul for a few$$$$$? Whatever happen to the rights of we the people. Must tourism take over the entire county? The government does not give a shit about we as a people, they are in it just to make a profit for themselves. Lets think about it, one reason why we as a nation are unique is because of the natural beauty and location of our Island.

It's important that jamacains have the opportunity to swim in their own country waters! It's not always about tourist it's about listening and respecting locals. Please save this beach for future families and adventurous tourist who venture off the resort to see the real beauty of JA and taste the flavours of local dishes.

Keep Winnifred Beach for the people of Jamaica to enjoy. Stop the Government of Jamaica from taking this beach away and selling it. It should remain open for those who truly deserve this and for all the citizens of Jamaica and their next generations to come to use freely.
