Free Winnifred. I visited that beach as a child when I used to visit family in the Scheme. We would take the short cut and ate whatever fruit was available before we got there. Beautiful scenery, beautiful beach. I say shame on you Urban Development for just realizing such beautiful beach was still on the map. Uplift poor people so they can continue to put food in the pots.

I absolutely support this. Development is not truly development if our people are marginalized and treated as second class

I have enjoyed Winnifred's beach for as long as i can remember. I am a portlander but now resides in St. Mary and when i find myself with time to spare i ensure winnifred is the place i must be. So let me continue to enjoy the beach as long as wish to.

Keep a Winifred Beach public. Local people and visitors need public beaches to relax and have a good time. Keep the beach public.

Not only should locals not be deprived of access to Jamaica's beaches, but it would be a gross injustice for those who have stewarded Winnifred Beach for so long to be denied continued use.
