Leave the start times the same for elementary and middle school. It's just not right to expect the elementary kids to take on the high school schedule. Find the money for a later start for high schoolers.

School board needs to do some real work to produce win win proposals. Do not put the interests of elementary schoolers and high school kids on the opposite sides!
I have both both elemetary school and high school age kids. The high school kid has so much homework on top of the legit extra curricular actives, there has not been a single night he went to bed before mid night. He was doing homework, not playing games or spending time on social media. With how this is going, the only option is no sports and cutting after school activities such as math league, science bowl, debate, etc.
Need sleep time for all age kids.

My kids are out of elementary school but I can't even imagine how negatively this would've impacted them. Hard enough getting my middle schooler up for a 7:30 bus!

Please don't change elementary times. They are little and need their sleep too. My
High schooler has no problem getting up and getting to the high school on time in the morning. They don't require as much sleep as elementary children do.

Coming up with the idea of letting little ones get up @6:30 so that high school students can start school ealier @9, I am just speechless. Chaz even selected some bezzare research papers to support his stupid plan,which just put me into anger. Quit and go fishing with your team,Chaz!!

I don't feel that ANY aged child should have to get on a bus at 6:35, it's time to look at the bus situation!

It makes no sense to shift elementary school start time to 7:20 AM. There should better options.

It is plain ridiculous to have elementary kids to be at the bus stop so so early in a winter state.
Not sure what sleep patterns are being researched but this is just not acceptable.
The bus pick up time should not be earlier than 8 am for these kids.

Elementary and middle school students schools not have to sacrifice for the high school students. This change does not benefit the younger generation of students. Their education is of greater importance and this change does not reflect that.

There's gotta be a better way to solve this problem than simply putting our youngest students at the bus stop by 6:45. School district should consider increasing number of buses and routes.
