Chicago's music history needs to be preserved. Not everything needs to be a condo complex. When buildings with this kind of cultural importance disappear, the factors that draw people TO a neighborhood in the first place also disappear.

I would drive from Northwest Indiana to Wax Traxx for records and tapes only to be found there, and the shoe store upstairs was cool too!
