WAX TRAX is an incredibly special entity that shaped and help create an entire genre of music. No other place except for maybe Sun Records has done as much for moving music forward. We need to make sure that it is around for generations to come.

Chicago needs to hold on to what's made it 'Chicago' as big box and chain stores continue to eradicate important elements of what has constituted significant cultural building blocks.

I drove from the suburbs, St. Charles, when I was 16 to not only buy new records, but to meet people like myself there. It made me feel part of something being around like minded people.
