I am as influenced today as I was then by the history, music and culture that was in the building callled WAX TRAX on Lincoln. I would drive from Michigan to find music and it ultimately led me to promoting many genre’s of music in life. The industrial sound that was and is the core of this institute was also the core of my college radio show. Influence is not close the the description. Driven or motivated by the energy and art is more true. With love for Wax Trax. Ryan Murray

This is a great idea! While I have been a fan of the Wax Trax Records label and its artists since 1990, I never had a chance to visit the store. This is a wonderful way to memorialize the impact that Wax Trax had on the city of Chicago and the history of music.

Wax Trax Denver has been a big part of my life, and what Jim Nash and Dannie Flesher did here and in Chicago changed music history forever. Please make the Chicago location a historic landmark because without it music wouldn't be what it is today. Thank you

This place was my childhood. The music. The people. Everything it represented defined a generation of Alternative music enthusiasts.
