I never got the chance to visit the store but, I listen still to a lot of the bands that came from here. This should definitely be a landmark.

Wax Trax records and artists on the label are an important part of music industry history. I was/am a huge fan, and the artists Wax Trax supported were on regular rotation on my radio shows when I was a DJ in college. Please preserve and mark the building as a significant historical icon.

Wax Trax opened my eyes to so much music when I was younger. I have found inspiration in many of the bands that came out of the label and use it in my music making.

Wax Trax was my favorite thing in the 80s and 90s. As a kid from the south, the mail order was amazing and we made several road trips to see the Blackhawks and to visit Wax Trax that was my music mecca.

We don’t have enough historic landmarks of this kind. The seventies through the late nineties were one of most interesting years in American music.
