This is as big as Chess Records or any other historical landmark revolving around music in Chicago. Please preserve this historical landmark and unique and ever world-wide popular piece of Chicago music culture.

Wax Trax produced alot of the music I grew up listening to with my Dad. We've wanted to visit for so long and it would be a huge let down if we weren't able to make the pilgrimage together.

The artistic spirit spawned at this location has reverberated worldwide for decades. This building is a cultural mecca and holds a significant place in history equal to Sun Studios in Memphis, or Abbey Road in London. Thousands of us owe our livelihoods to WaxTrax Chicago. Hundreds of millions of fans worldwide have felt the impact of the history that was made here. Please help us protect this legacy.

Grew up on Lincoln Ave and my father owned the flat iron on Lincoln and Beldon. Wax Trax was an extraordinary cultural contribution to the areas artistic and music history.
