Went there before it was a label. Saw it transform into the influencer that it became.

Wax is a part of Chicago Music history. Losing this removes a part of music history that can't be replaced by a museum.

Please make this a landmark, the music and culture that this label provided to myself and multiple generations is beyond influential in our tastes and look at current and future music with open ears and minds.

My sister still has mega albums from wax trax with plastic and price tags on them. We grew up shopping there.

Bought my Pailhead cassette there as a young teen, unfortunately my only visit, but the label had a profound impact on my tastes.

Wax Trax! is/was one of a kind!!! As a Chicagoan, I am proud to call it ours.I had the pleasure of shopping there for two decades. It and it's staff helped me discover and appreciate music that I otherwise wouldn't have had access to. I spent so much time there it felt like home. My library if full of their albums and CDs. I turned on many friends and family to Wax Trax!, including my daughter who also has a fine collection of their releases!!!

The city of Chicago is known for world class architecture. Please help protect out treasures. Buildings in Europe exist for centuries.
