I used to live right across the street from the Biograph theater which is just east of Wax Trax. Used to go in there all the time. What a great music store it was. They turned it into a coffee shop where you can buy coffee beans from around the world.

Wax Trax was a huge part of my adolescent life. It was window to our musical world. It means more than anyone outside of my generation could appreciate. It was one of Chicago's musical jewels. We need to preserve it, or better yet, revive ot.
